About the Team As a Product Manager on the Developer Experience Product team, you will be envisioning, designing, and delivering best-in-class solutions that improve the quality of life of our software delivery teams while maintaining the highest quality and security standards. This role sits at the heart of transforming the Capital One Developer Experience. You will be responsible for both defining and executing strategy to improve developer productivity, test automation, and our delivery pipeline. The team is hiring multiple positions across the following areas: Source Code Management The team's work encompasses the entire lifecycle of software artifacts, from inception to archival. Jira serves as the single source of truth for all work items, features, and defects. This planning layer is integrated with GitHub, which manages the source code and version control, to establish a clear, auditable trail from requirement to code. Work Management The team provides the visibility and structure that allows our engineering organization to move with precision by influencing how work is recorded, tracked, and reported on. In addition to supporting Jira as our primary work item management tool, we optimize the experience with auxiliary tools and integrations. Parallel to this, we manage the system of record for individuals assigned to development teams, bodies of work, and access to perform certain tasks along the SDLC. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
