About The Position

RBC leads Canada’s Business Markets with top market share in Deposits, Foreign Exchange, and payment volumes. This role owns the full lifecycle of innovative payment and receivables solutions, from strategic conception through market commercialization, aligning with global product strategies and local market needs. This position seeks a bold, client-obsessed leader who seizes market opportunities, builds impactful product features, and scales adoption—fundamentally shaping business momentum and competitive strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of industry experience in commercial cash management.
  • Deep knowledge of accounts payables and receivables processes.
  • Expertise in Canadian/U.S. treasury management products.
  • Deep understanding of Regulatory & Compliance framework, ensuring products comply with Canadian payment regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills (market trends, product performance, complex data).
  • Project management experience (Agile, change management).
  • Technical acumen to collaborate with technology teams.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap that positions Payables & Receivables solutions as market leading automation platform.
  • Translate client needs into innovative product capabilities that streamline processes, accelerate payments, and improve cash flow visibility – driving measurable ROI and operational efficiency for enterprise clients.
  • Align products with RBC’s Commercial Banking and Cash Management strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Manage product lifecycle (KPIs, market/competitor analysis, client needs) and collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (AML, cross-border) and mitigate client impact.
  • Monitor competitive pricing, market share, and benchmarking.
  • Handle escalations and engage with clients/sales teams.
  • Develop product roadmaps with cross-functional teams (client experience, tech, operations).
  • Own product requirements, technical design, participate in sprint planning, sequence and release planning.
  • Lead project execution, prioritize features, and define requirements/user stories.
  • Track OKRs and ensure platform integration/client adoption.
  • Create reusable frameworks for consistent outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to RBC’s security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage third-party supplier risks and improve service reliability.
  • Analyze financial data and product performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on future strategies and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate product vision and support executive reporting.
  • Own product profitability, revenue targets, and KPI achievement.
  • Manage project budgets and financial analysis.
