About The Position

Snap Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Product to join their Ad Formats Product Management team within the Revenue Product organization. This role involves leading a team of Product Managers to develop and scale a comprehensive vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ad Formats. The goal is to ensure alignment with Snap’s broader business objectives and deliver innovative solutions that benefit advertisers and enhance user experiences. The position requires originating and executing transformative ideas that address advertiser needs and contribute to the long-term impact of Snap’s revenue ecosystem. Building trust and influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Marketing Science, and Solutions Engineering, is crucial. The role also involves using data and analytics to understand performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize or sunset underperforming products. Additionally, the Senior Manager will inspire and lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and mentor less experienced Product Managers, contributing to the growth of the Revenue Product organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of practical work experience
  • 10+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company; or a Masters and 9+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing product teams
  • Skilled in people management, cross functional leadership and deep product management experience
  • Ability to initiate projects, execute against defined objectives, and communicate the results of analyses clearly and effectively
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams
  • Ability to initiate and drive emerging projects from strategy to completion
  • Skilled in clear and concise communication across a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of product-oriented quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis
  • A strong understanding of and practical experience in designing, executing, and analyzing UI-centric A/B tests to drive product improvements.

  • Mentor and guide less experienced PMs, contribute to recruiting efforts, and play an active role in building a strong, collaborative Revenue Product organization.
