About The Position

The Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy & Transformation will be responsible for bringing the facts and data to our procurement decision-making processes. You’ll be leading analytics and strategies across Global Procurement and solving complex problems using data-driven insights. As a procurement organization, we know that taking a data-driven approach results in better outcomes (we have the data to support that!) and you will be responsible for taking those facts and data into a story that leads to that better outcome. You’ll be part of a fun and engaged team that is made up of master story-tellers with tremendous analytic horsepower that use facts and data to solve problems (big and small) and improve outcomes. To be successful, you’ll have expert analytic capabilities and a strong attention to detail. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Global Procurement, have a willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to embrace change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • Seven years’ experience in procurement strategy, category management, change management and transformation delivery
  • Experience with price modeling, forecasting and story telling
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office applications; particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills (pivots, complex logic statements, lookups, etc.)
  • Fearful of mediocrity and a willingness to embrace change

Nice To Haves

  • MS Access, Power BI, Tableau
  • Related experience within a matrixed corporate environment
  • IT and/or Professional Services category knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Leverage a data-centric approach to build category and supplier strategies that, in partnership with key stakeholders, can be implemented across the enterprise.
  • Drive transformational change across Global Procurement and the lines of business through developed strategies.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive change through communication and collaboration skills.
  • Compel meaningful outcomes (changes, actions and more) through powerful and effective story-telling that adapts across all mediums and audiences.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage the impacts and change that may come from strategies you’ve developed.
  • Use facts and data to solve problems and develop transformational strategies for the bank.
  • Analyze third-party spend, pricing, contracts and processes to identify opportunities and support ongoing sourcing engagements.
  • Optimize third-party spend and more effectively allocate resources across multiple competing priorities by letting data guide the way.
  • Perform RFx modeling and decision-making support, spend analysis and planning, benchmarking, industry research, bid evaluation and deal modeling, and spend forecasting.
  • Support various strategic initiatives including process re-design, strategy development, budget and priority-setting, digital culture transformation and more.
  • Leverage problem-solving, communication, project management, change management and creativity skills to be successful in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
