Working as a strategic HR Business Partner, the Senior Manager of People & Talent is responsible for coaching, talent management, change management, recruitment/talent selection and workforce planning. This leader is a contributing member of the Extended Leadership Team, and must be adept at working collaboratively on business issues expanding beyond the human resources domain.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of HR Business Partner experience with a background in Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
  • Global HR experience is required (European preferred)
  • Previous management and leadership experience is required
  • AI-forward thinker with experience building with Claude
  • Remote working experience in an HR capacity is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusting relationships and influence peers and leaders - being seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Demonstrated capability in translating business needs to support leadership and drive implementation of people programs
  • Experience effectively coaching and guiding employees at all levels
  • Capacity to solve complex problems with a new perspective and innovative approach
  • Substantial experience handling complex employee relations and performance management issues
  • 3+ years experience leading Talent Acquisition functions
  • Must be a driven and accountable leader with excellent business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Provide managers, leaders and team members with coaching, performance management and conflict resolution through strong and deep relationships.
  • Partner with leaders to identify and anticipate talent needs, ensure accuracy of support structure and develop an effective talent management and succession approach.
  • Review, analyze, and provide relevant data on people metrics to include trends and recommendations in order to enhance operational performance and develop strategies for future opportunities.
  • Influence and deploy practices to increase employee engagement and satisfaction for Team Members at all levels.
  • Act as a coach and consultant to manage performance, develop leaders, assist with change management and provide positive Team Member relations.
  • Lead Syncro’s Talent Acquisition process, including identifying internal trends, presenting metrics, best practices and market trends.
  • Lead a hands-on, best-in-class search process, including the direct leadership of the HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Responsible for the overall Team Member experience at Syncro, including working closely with the People Team and business leaders to identify programs and process improvements to enhance the working lives of our Team Members.

  • Pay Range: $130,000 - $170,000 (targeting $150,000)
