About The Position

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Senior Manager, Operational & External Reporting, based in Raynham, Massachusetts. The role provides leadership within the Reporting & Analytics organization, advancing data-driven decisions through reporting, analytics, and production insights. It works with global and regional stakeholders to provide accurate, timely, actionable intelligence supporting operational excellence, financial performance, and continuous improvement. The position also offers the opportunity to shape reporting strategy and lead analytical initiatives during DePuy Synthes’ transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, information systems, or a related field.
• Typically 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including reporting, analytics, and operations or related functions, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Strong understanding of operational financial processes, preferably in I2C, order-to-cash, or P2P environments.
• Strong experience deploying and managing complex reports, dashboards, and analytical models.
• Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Advanced proficiency with reporting and analytics tools, such as BI platforms, Excel, and enterprise systems.
• Exposure to data governance, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• English language proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 10–15%, primarily domestically.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in a global, highly regulated, medical device, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience with external SEC reporting and consolidations processes.
• Change management or transformation experience supporting large-scale process or system improvements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise data architectures.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights for senior leaders.
• Additional languages.
• Analytics, finance, or project management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, governance, and delivery of standardized and ad-hoc reporting and analytics for operational processes, including I2C and P2P, and external/corporate consolidations reporting.
• Translate operational and financial data into clear insights and executive-ready dashboards for strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Partner with A2R Finance, Master Data, CFIN, and other cross-functional teams to align data definitions, metrics, and reporting standards.
• Oversee production reporting to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across systems and geographies.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage, coach, and develop analysts and reporting professionals, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support system enhancements, automation, and analytics transformation initiatives with digital and technology teams.
