About The Position

Greif is seeking an External Reporting Intern to support recurring external reporting work and related analyses, reconciliations, documentation, and internal control activities. The intern will work with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and other business partners; gather, validate, and analyze data; research topics; and contribute to process-improvement efforts. The role also includes participation in department meetings, networking events, and cross-functional activities, and completion of assigned projects with accurate, timely, and organized work. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. The position pays $24.18–$41.20 annually, and may be eligible for a short-term incentive. Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
Takes initiative and is intellectually curious.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Some knowledge of the function related to the position.
Interest in financial reporting, auditing, or internal controls.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Support recurring external reporting activities, analyses, reconciliations, and documentation.
Assist with internal control activities, including control documentation, evidence organization, and process walkthroughs.
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and other business partners.
Perform data gathering, validation, trend analysis, and research.
Support process-improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.
Participate in department meetings, networking events, and cross-functional activities.
Complete assigned projects and deliver accurate, timely, and well-organized work.
