About The Position

Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Onboarding Programs to build and maintain GTM onboarding programs that accelerates new hire productivity. The ideal candidate has field experience and brings seller empathy to the role, and at least 5 years building or running onboarding programs from scratch. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require excellent stakeholder management skills, deep personal ownership of outcomes, proficiency in data analysis for decision-making, and expertise in building adult learning programs that drive business outcomes. Requirements

• 3+ years in a quota-carrying or customer-facing revenue role (SDR, AE, SE, or CSM).
• 5+ years total experience in enablement, onboarding, or revenue program ownership, including building or running onboarding programs from scratch, solo or with minimal support.
• Experience using data to connect onboarding programs to ramp speed, quota attainment, or retention.
• Skilled in Salesforce and Gong (or comparable tools) for rep performance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable owning every piece of onboarding-related comms independently.
• Proven ability to own a program end-to-end without a team, with demonstrable results from your own execution and cross-functional influence.

Nice To Haves

• Background in IaaS, cloud infrastructure, or developer-focused products; familiarity with CPU cloud (compute, networking, storage).
• Experience at a high-growth startup scaling a sales team (Series B+).
• Experience applying AI tools or AI-enabled workflows to learning, coaching, or performance support.
• Experience being the sole owner of a function or program. You thrive on being the one accountable versus managing others to get there.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously optimize onboarding programs for new sales hires supporting Vultr's growing commercial org.
• Define ramp architecture, role-track design, graduation milestones, and readiness criteria.
• Own success metrics that go beyond completion: ramp-to-quota time, cohort win-rate lift, technical fluency, and rep retention.
• Partner with Product, Revenue Operations, and Sales leadership so programs reflect real field conditions, not enablement theory.
• Bring AI-enabled tools and workflows into coaching, content creation, and reinforcement to speed ramp without sacrificing depth.
• Strong facilitation and audience engagement skills. You bring complex concepts to life and support learning retention through dynamic and creative presentations.
• New-hire onboarding communications (welcome sequences, schedules, and expectation-setting from start date through ramp completion).
• Ramp-status updates to hiring managers, sales leadership, and cross-functional partners, so no one is guessing where a cohort stands.
• Cohort reporting: completion, certification, and readiness milestones, communicated on a regular cadence.
• Feedback loops: collecting input from new hires and managers and communicating what changes as a result.
