About The Position

Woodward is seeking a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to translate business priorities into integrated campaigns that drive growth in participation, membership, and revenue. This role involves connecting the customer journey across digital, web, CRM, email, social, content, and paid media, creating clear plans for execution. The ideal candidate is a collaborative operator who can simplify complexity, align teams and agency partners, and leverage performance insights to enhance campaigns. The position requires leading and developing a team while partnering across Woodward locations and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, campaign management, product marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading multi-channel campaigns from strategy through execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across digital, web, CRM, email, social, content, and performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated people-management experience, including setting priorities, developing talent, providing feedback, and ensuring accountability.
  • Ability to connect marketing plans to customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue goals.
  • Strong project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and budgets.
  • Experience using customer insights and performance data to improve marketing decisions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated campaign strategy, translating product priorities, audience needs, revenue goals, and operational realities into actionable campaign plans.
  • Guide campaigns across the customer journey, from awareness and consideration through conversion, retention, reactivation, and repeat participation.
  • Balance enterprise priorities with the needs of each Woodward location and audience.
  • Coordinate cross-channel execution by bringing digital, web, CRM, email, social, content, and paid media partners together around a coordinated plan.
  • Create clear channel briefs, campaign calendars, workback schedules, milestones, and approval paths.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging and sequencing while adapting execution for local markets and customer segments.
  • Identify dependencies, remove blockers, and hold internal teams and external partners accountable for timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Drive product and revenue marketing by building campaigns for priority products and growth opportunities, including camps, memberships, lessons, and programs.
  • Turn product features into compelling, audience-relevant value propositions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve demand, acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty, and customer lifetime value.
  • Connect brand-building and performance marketing to deliver culturally relevant work and measurable business results.
  • Deepen audience and customer understanding using research, behavioral data, and local market knowledge to define priority audiences, motivations, and barriers to participation.
  • Develop audience segments and customer journeys that guide content, channel selection, and campaign timing.
  • Partner with CRM and digital teams to strengthen lead nurture, abandoned-conversion, retention, loyalty, reactivation, and repeat-purchase programs.
  • Bring relevant youth-culture and sport-community insights into campaign planning.
  • Run effective campaign operations, managing campaign intake, scope, timelines, deliverables, reviews, approvals, budgets, and performance tracking.
  • Prioritize resources based on business impact, timing, and team capacity.
  • Give channel teams the context, customer insights, product information, and feedback they need to execute effectively.
  • Improve efficiency by reducing duplication and creating reusable frameworks, processes, and assets.
  • Establish campaign objectives, key performance indicators, benchmarks, and reporting requirements before launch.
  • Evaluate performance across awareness, engagement, traffic, lead generation, conversion, revenue, retention, and return on marketing investment.
  • Lead campaign retrospectives and turn insights into practical improvements for future work.
  • Use data to inform priorities, investment, and resource decisions.
  • Lead people and partnerships by directly managing, coaching, and developing a team, setting clear priorities and expectations while supporting high-quality execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with marketing, operations, programming, finance, leadership, and agency partners.
  • Bring structure and accountability to complex work while supporting Woodward’s entrepreneurial and creative culture.
