About The Position

Technology & Systems to lead and strengthen the technology function supporting our multi-site business. In this on-site leadership role, you will guide our technology strategy, develop our internal team, and partner with specialized external providers. You will bring together systems, security, data, automation, and business processes to help our teams work more effectively and support continued growth. About the Opportunity You will join an established technology environment with opportunities to improve integration, strengthen cybersecurity and business continuity, and expand our use of AI and automation. We are looking for a proactive leader who can identify risks and opportunities, establish clear priorities, improve outdated processes, and guide initiatives from planning through implementation. Success in this role means building team capability, creating accountability, and delivering measurable business results.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of building and leading a technology function in an environment with comparable scope and complexity.
  • Preferably 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with 5+ years of meaningful people-management responsibility.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site business; distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience with enterprise systems and integrations, alongside infrastructure knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, business continuity, project and change management, and vendor accountability.
  • Experience applying AI and automation to improve business processes, with sound judgment around responsible use and governance.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred; directly comparable, proven senior-level experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technology risks, priorities, investments, and business impact.
  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to develop people, set expectations, and follow initiatives through to measurable results.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Lead department performance, priorities, staffing, operating processes, KPIs, and team development.
  • Oversee enterprise infrastructure and the Microsoft environment, including cybersecurity governance, access management, backups, business continuity, and incident escalation.
  • Lead improvements across ERP, WMS, EDI, CRM, system integrations, SQL, data and reporting, and e-commerce connections.
  • Develop an AI and automation roadmap and build internal capabilities to support responsible adoption.
  • Manage technology vendors and managed service providers, ensuring service quality, performance, accountability, effective escalation, and clear documentation.
  • Partner with departments across the company to deliver technology projects, manage system changes, encourage user adoption, and improve business processes.
  • Maintain a technology roadmap that gives executive leadership clear visibility into priorities, risks, costs, and opportunities.
