LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The organization is on a mission to create an unparalleled experience for athletes, fans, partners, and the community. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This role reports to the Senior Director, C3 (Communication, Command, Coordination) within the Operational Planning team. The Sr. Manager, Main Operations Center and External Coordination is responsible for the design and implementation of the operational framework of the Main Operations Center (MOC), which will be the central hub for operations during the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The MOC will be the fusion center of the Games, connecting all operational sites, functional areas, stakeholders, and delivery partners. Delivery partners refer to all partner organizations involved in delivering the Games, including local and state agencies, contractors, and service providers.
