Senior Manager Medical Economics - QuickBase Developer
About The Position
The Senior Manager Medical Economics – QuickBase Developer will join Aetna’s Medical Economics Unit (MEU), on the Performance Guarantee and Operational Reporting Team. The Operational Reporting and Analytics team is responsible for operational measurement and analysis for Care Management programs. This role serves as the analytic lead for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks, supporting business objectives and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of measured specifications, validation processes, and reporting outputs for clinical performance guarantee reporting. The position focuses on developing the PG QuickBase strategy for tracking the non-compliant review process and supporting continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in reporting and analytics, including advanced SQL development, data modeling, and data transformation.
- At least 4 years of experience working within cloud data ecosystems, including GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
- At least 4 years of experience querying, analyzing, and transforming data using BigQuery or other enterprise cloud data warehouse platforms.
- At least 3 years of QuickBase development experience or experience with similar software applications.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Power BI and Python.
- Experience working with Care Management or other healthcare data domains.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain QuickBase applications.
- Develop and maintain clinical performance report logic/code and report production.
- Compile detailed reporting requirements and understand clinical programs, workflows, and data sources.
- Track progress against performance targets.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and business stakeholders.
- Lead complex analytic projects involving multiple resources and tasks.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of measured specifications, validation processes, and reporting outputs supporting clinical performance guarantee reporting.
- Support the development of the PG QuickBase strategy for tracking the non-compliant review process and drive continuous improvement.
