About The Position

This role establishes policies and directs strategies, tools, processes, and personnel for raw-component-level planning. Its scope includes component yield planning, lineside kanban sizing, MRP plan-load accuracy, ECO process guidance, and component planning and excess-and-obsolete (E&O) mitigation for major product transitions and chronic shortages. The position works with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Service teams to streamline component planning and material flow and improve operational performance, including shortage recovery and movement of components from warehouses to production lines. The role oversees component-level MRP integrity, buffering and inventory strategies, E&O analysis, yield planning reviews, and material-load processes. It leads lineside kanban sizing and implementation, shortage recovery and material-flow improvements, inter-factory material transfers and raw-material allocation, and planning actions for product transitions and new-product-introduction materials. It also establishes performance metrics and supports enhancements to planning tools and ERP/MRP functionality. The position involves approximately 20% travel to domestic and international operating sites.
