About The Position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for coordinating and executing marketing programs, managing marketing operations, and providing reporting and administrative support for organizational initiatives. This role ensures marketing projects are delivered on time, resources are effectively coordinated, systems and processes operate efficiently, and leadership receives accurate and timely reporting on project status and performance. The position serves as the central coordinator for marketing campaigns and initiatives across the organization, working closely with membership, sales, education, and leadership teams to facilitate and execute the implementation of marketing activities. In addition, the role manages marketing technology platforms, analytics, workflow processes, and campaign performance reporting to support data-driven decision making. This position requires a highly organized professional with strong project management, reporting, and operational skills who can successfully manage multiple priorities while ensuring consistent execution of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
  • 5-7 years experience in marketing operations, project coordination, campaign management, business operations, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex marketing initiatives and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Experience working in a nonprofit association, healthcare organization, technology company, or related industry preferred.
  • Experience managing marketing automation systems, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization’s marketing program calendar, coordinating campaign execution across membership initiatives, conferences, educational programs, product launches, and sponsorship promotions.
  • Manage project schedules and workflow processes to ensure marketing deliverables move through development, review, approval, and deployment.
  • Coordinate resources, timelines, and assignments among internal stakeholders to support successful completion of marketing projects.
  • Track deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Monitor campaign progress and adjust timelines or resources as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, dashboards, and status reports for marketing programs and organizational initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership on project status, marketing performance metrics, budget tracking, and operational activities.
  • Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays or issues, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain progress.
  • Maintain project management tools, templates, and documentation to support consistent execution and reporting.
  • Support Strategic Planning Committee activities through meeting coordination, documentation, action item tracking, and follow-up reporting.
  • Track marketing performance metrics including email engagement, website activity, membership participation, event registrations, product promotions, and sponsorship activities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into marketing and engagement activities.
  • Compile and analyze marketing data to identify trends and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership, committees, and staff.
  • Administer marketing technology platforms, including marketing automation tools, email marketing systems, website integrations, event platforms, and CRM-related marketing functions.
  • Maintain marketing databases, audience lists, campaign assets, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure marketing systems are configured properly to support communications, audience segmentation, registrations, and reporting.
  • Assist with implementation of new technologies, system enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Growth & Engagement Department and other departments including Standards, Database Services, Information Technology, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities and program timelines.
  • Support integrated marketing strategies that promote membership value, educational programs, conferences, and industry initiatives.
