About The Position
Join us at Adobe as a Senior Machine Learning Manager, where you'll lead our Document Cloud AI Team in San Jose, CA! Drive innovation and build transformative document experiences with our world-class AI-powered features! You will lead a team of scientists and engineers to deliver new customer-facing Gen AI features powered by advanced technology, from concept to customer impact from proof-of-concept to prod end-to-end. You will advocate for scientific and engineering excellence ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with customers, partners, product management, and cross-functional teams to align development with product goals. You will foster a winning culture built on collaboration, transparency, diversity, inclusivity, and shared accomplishments. You will attract, hire, onboard, and retain top talent through mentorship and regular guidance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in management.
- Solid foundation in generative AI, LLMs, ML model development, and production deployment.
- Experience with agentic AI systems and AI developer tools like Claude Code and Cursor AI.
- Proficiency in Python and strong grounding in data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on knowledge of MLOps practices and pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud ML services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Led and shipped a customer-facing Gen AI feature from proof-of-concept to production end-to-end.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
