About The Position

The Sourcing & Procurement team is seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics and Tolling to develop and implement regional and global sourcing strategies for Over-the-road (OTR) Transportation, Rail, Warehousing, and Tolling. This role is crucial for ensuring supply security, achieving the lowest total cost-of-ownership, driving sustainable savings, fostering innovation, and managing risk.

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar
• 5-10 Years of Sourcing or Procurement Experience
• Strong Leadership, Interpersonal, and Communication skills
• Experience in Negotiation and Commercial Terms Management
• Strong quantitative, project management, and data analysis skills
• Highly effective communications in all levels of the organization
• Able to influence and thrive in a Team environment
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional and global sourcing strategies for Over-the-road (OTR) Transportation, Rail, Warehousing, and Tolling.
• Ensure maintenance, security, and competitive supply of strategic non-metal demands to feed regional operations, supporting growth and minimizing costs.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, manage supply chain risk, and monitor market developments, international movements, and tariff barriers.
• Negotiate and manage regional contracts and ensure compliance with global agreements.
• Improve Novelis’ leverage in the global market through regional sourcing of non-metal demands, supporting profitability and working capital objectives.
• Collaborate with global and regional Procurement organizations to enhance value for Novelis.
• Partner with the Purchasing Team to ensure timely and quality delivery of Production Supplies and Services.
• Develop extensive knowledge of the supplier base and value chains to ensure continuity of supply.
• Support the implementation and roll-out of the Supplier Quality Relationship Management Framework.
• Influence and engage cross-functional collaborators from commercial, manufacturing, technical, engineering, R&D, Finance, IT, and Legal.
• Gain technical know-how of major materials and supply flows, focusing on costs, supplier options, and vulnerabilities, and drive risk mitigation efforts.
• Partner with Value Stream Leadership, Plant Management, and Procurement teams to meet or exceed Plants’ Savings Targets with a TCO mindset.
• Communicate effectively to convey the "voice of the Customer" and Procurement's value to the company culture.
• Recommend incorporating supporting NNA Cost Reduction Projects, IT/Digital enablement initiatives, team/people development, and leadership of large-scale strategic supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Lead external consulting engagements and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Serve as business owner for logistics sourcing technologies, defining requirements, evaluating solutions, and leading implementation.
• Build and sustain team capability and continuity through coaching, role clarity, workload planning, and adoption of sourcing, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
• Lead complex, high-value strategic supplier relationships, sourcing, and commercial negotiations, developing innovative commercial models, optimizing total cost of ownership, mitigating supply risk, and securing long-term value.
