About The Position

The Senior Manager - Hardware Asset Management will play a critical role in supporting the Hardware Asset Manager in directing the initiatives, policies and programs for global infrastructure development and Asset lifecycle processes and lifecycle management activities.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) frameworks and hardware asset lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Asset Management and CMDB modules or equivalent enterprise asset management platforms.
  • Experience supporting data quality management and asset normalization processes.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly Asset Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management.
  • Experience supporting control execution and evidence collection for audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of enterprise hardware lifecycle processes, including asset intake, assignment, maintenance, transfer, and disposal.
  • University or College Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, or IT operations within a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting internal audits and/or compliance programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience investigating data discrepancies and operational exceptions.
  • Experience collaborating with technology, procurement, and finance teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and communicate operational issues clearly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a global financial institution or other highly regulated industry.
  • Professional certifications such as: ITIL Certification Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) ServiceNow certifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise CMDB or asset management implementations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement, financial asset tracking, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day Hardware Asset Management (HAM) operations across the enterprise technology environment.
  • Execute operational processes that support the full lifecycle of hardware assets, including procurement intake, deployment, transfer, and retirement.
  • Ensure accurate asset records and data integrity within enterprise asset repositories and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Support the control activities required by IT Asset Management policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document, investigate and support the resolution of asset discrepancies, data integrity issues, and lifecycle exceptions.
  • Support initiatives related to consolidation of hardware asset management process across the enterprise, including subsidiaries and business units as needed.
  • Partner with infrastructure, end-user computing, data center, cloud, and procurement teams to ensure complete visibility of hardware assets across the technology estate.
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments by providing control evidence and operational documentation.
  • Support initiatives for reporting key asset management metrics, including asset accuracy, lifecycle compliance and control performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset lifecycle processes through automation, tooling enhancements, and process standardization.
