About The Position

Lead delivery for Digital Operations initiatives, overseeing complex technology programs across UI, API, cloud, and workflow platforms. Drive end-to-end execution across cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality, secure, scalable solutions on time and with measurable business impact. The role provides initiative-level accountability and cross-functional leadership for global delivery teams, without formal personnel management responsibilities.

The position supports digital capabilities for Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations service lines, including business workflows, APIs, and user experiences that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes. The team collaborates with engineering, architecture, security, and product partners to execute a multi-year strategy.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of IT project or program delivery experience, including enterprise-scale application and platform initiatives.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams across business, product, engineering, QA, architecture, security, and operations.
• Strong command of Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, release planning, sprint governance, and dependency management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and executive-level reporting in fast-paced environments.
• Experience delivering cloud and API-driven programs using modern engineering practices.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical and business priorities.
• Data-driven mindset and experience using KPIs and delivery metrics to improve predictability and outcomes.
• Experience leading delivery for technology stacks including Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, microservices, Angular/TypeScript or React web applications, Node.js services, AWS cloud services, cloud-native deployment patterns, and containerized application delivery.
• Familiarity with workflow or business process platforms such as Camunda or equivalent BPM/workflow technologies.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency with project and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong risk management and change control discipline in regulated or highly governed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects, providing cross-functional leadership for global delivery teams and accountability for initiative-level outcomes.
• Own end-to-end project delivery from initiation through production rollout and stabilization.
• Build integrated plans, track milestones, and manage cross-team dependencies and blockers.
• Partner with architecture and engineering leads to ensure delivery aligns with target-state technology and security standards.
• Provide execution transparency through governance, status reporting, and escalation management.
• Coordinate test strategy, release readiness, and production deployment planning with QA and operations.
• Improve delivery maturity by standardizing practices, dashboards, and metrics across squads.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate integration across enterprise systems, shared services, and platform teams.
