About The Position

The Senior Manager, IT Facilities and Data Center Operation leads global data center services to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. This role provides strategic and people leadership, oversees critical facilities and daily operations, manages vendors and budgets, and partners across technology teams to strengthen resilience, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in data center operations, infrastructure management or facilities.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams, vendors, and service providers in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global or multi-site infrastructure operations.
  • Strong knowledge of data center operations, facilities infrastructure, operational governance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT service management practices.
  • Experience managing operational and capital budgets, financial planning, and vendor contracts.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional programs.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Data Center Operations function, establishing strategy, priorities, standards, and operating models to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure services across all company locations.
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and performance management for data center teams, contractors, and service providers, fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term data center and facilities strategies, including capacity planning, modernization initiatives, resiliency improvements, sustainability objectives, and technology roadmaps.
  • Direct the installation, upgrade, relocation, and decommissioning of enterprise technology infrastructure while ensuring governance, standards compliance, and accurate documentation across all sites.
  • Oversee critical facility infrastructure including power distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, cooling systems, environmental monitoring, and physical security controls to ensure continuous operation of business-critical services.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Network, and Business Technology leaders to align data center capabilities with current and future business requirements.
  • Oversee day-to-day global data center operations, ensuring service reliability, availability, regulatory compliance, and adherence to change, incident, and problem management processes.
  • Lead major incident response, crisis management, root cause analysis, and service recovery efforts, ensuring effective communication, timely resolution, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures, metrics, and service level objectives to improve operational performance, customer experience, and business continuity readiness.
  • Lead global vendor, contractor, and service provider relationships, including contract negotiations, service level management, performance reviews, competitive bid processes, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage operational and capital budgets, financial forecasting, resource planning, and investment decisions to balance business priorities, operational performance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive governance and compliance activities supporting audit, security, risk management, disaster recovery, regulatory requirements, and enterprise resiliency objectives.
  • Develop succession plans, workforce strategies, and organizational capabilities to support future business growth and evolving infrastructure requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, automation, operational efficiency, visibility, and service delivery across the global infrastructure environment.
