The Senior Manager, Internal Communications & Culture at RayzeBio, reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Public Affairs, plays a pivotal role in shaping internal communications and company culture. This position is responsible for developing the company’s voice, fostering collaboration across multiple locations, managing knowledge sharing platforms, and creating engaging content such as newsletters and patient stories. The Senior Manager partners closely with HR and leadership committees to streamline communication, build employee engagement, and ensure that essential information and inspiring narratives reach the RayzeBio team, all while leveraging innovative tools and maintaining the biotech spirit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or a related field
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare communications or similar field
  • Demonstrated experience working in highly matrixed environments
  • Experience working with early stage and rapidly advancing research and development companies
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment with evolving priorities
  • Excellent professional ethics, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Development of company “voice” that maintains biotech-feel while supportive scaling of a company across two locations
  • Institute mechanism for measurement and feedback that reduces burden on employees while providing actional feedback that measures impact and allows for real-time adjustments
  • Support synergy creation between San Diego and Indianapolis site while supporting unique and individual characteristics of each
  • Support and manage company-wide intranet that facilitates knowledge sharing and information management
  • Develop and draft corporate newsletter to elevate content, informing employees of necessary information
  • Partner with HR to streamline communications ensuring essential information is shared
  • Develop comprehensive internal communications framework and leverage AI capabilities and agents to maintain and operate.
  • Leadership of company culture-based committees focused on building engagement, encouraging onsite participation and building a corporate culture that employees and talent want to be part of
  • Partner with Corporate Affairs and MSL lead to share patient stories, successes with RayzeBio team in creative, informal ways, making patients a priority
  • Manages process with BMS for RayzeBio corporate giving, including liaising with internal stakeholders and managing BMS review, vetting and payment process
  • Working closely with BMS, support LinkedIn content management and creation, including posts, responses and engagement
  • Understand and determine essential information to be conveyed to RayzeBio while reducing noise, distraction and information
  • Execution of graphical needs for RayzeBio.com, BMS to support Corporate-Affairs led content creation
  • Apply AI to improve team execution and decision-making
