About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Indirect Procurement Global Category Manager to lead sourcing and category management initiatives across key spend areas and regions. This role is a leadership position responsible for developing and executing global category sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving value creation while ensuring quality and compliance. This role will be responsible for leading the sourcing of Professional Services category which includes: HR services and technology IT, Financial, and legal services Business consulting Facilities services Contingent labor Travel services

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to optimize cost, quality, and service
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Lead negotiations and performance reviews to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay informed of industry trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies align with organizational objectives
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and process improvements
  • Develop and lead a global team of 2-4 direct reports
  • Assess and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity and supplier resilience
