About The Position

The Senior Manager, Incentive Compensation (IC) will play a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing sales incentive programs across the US Vision Care and Specialty Vision Products organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to ensure incentive programs drive business objectives, motivate performance, and support organizational success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical, incentive compensation, sales operations, or related experience.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen, judgment, and financial analysis skills.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical sales data and incentive compensation programs preferred.
  • Familiarity and exposure to incentive compensation reporting platforms and tools preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects, processes, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Results-oriented, highly organized, and able to consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Comfortable presenting to audiences ranging from small teams to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage sales incentive programs, including contests, SPIFF modeling and implementation, and special incentives.
  • Evaluate incentive plan effectiveness through performance analysis, pay curve assessment, and fairness testing.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align incentive programs with business and commercial strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including incentive processing, reporting, validation, and implementation of program changes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payout validation, attainment reporting, and eligibility management.
  • Stay current on industry trends and recommend enhancements to compensation programs.
  • Analyze incentive results and sales performance to identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and motivation.
  • Assess the impact of market dynamics, sales trends, and strategic initiatives on incentive outcomes.
  • Develop reporting, insights, and recommendations that support business decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define sales data requirements, business rules, and reporting needs.
  • Support field teams and leadership by investigating and resolving incentive-related questions.
  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging incentive communications and training materials.
  • Facilitate discussions with field sales teams to gather feedback and continuously improve programs.
  • Present recommendations and compensation insights to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
