About The Position

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done, working alongside the world’s best legal teams with a focus on excellence, precision, and speed. Their AI-native workspace helps legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision by analyzing thousands of documents and powering end-to-end workflows. The company has over 2,100 customers in more than 80 countries, has scaled to over $200M in ARR, and has teams across Europe, North America, and APAC. Legora partners with world-class performers and emphasizes ownership, excellence, and growth together. The company is looking for driven individuals focused on impact, pace, and raising the bar. Legora recently passed $200M in ARR, doubling in less than six months. North America is their fastest-growing, largest, and most competitive market. They are hiring at a significant scale across sales, deployment, and growth teams, with offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Toronto, and Mexico City. This role will lead all Go-To-Market (GTM) recruiting across North America, including sales, engagement, legal engineering, and marketing, and will manage a team of 10+ people. Based in the New York office, the Senior Manager will report to the new Senior Director of Global GTM Talent Acquisition and be responsible for the quality, pace, and consistency of GTM hiring across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The scope is expected to grow as the team scales. The role involves working with the CRO, sales, and marketing leadership teams on workforce planning, organizational design, and hiring strategies for new teams and markets. Leaders at Legora are invested in recruiting and expect it to move as fast as the business.

Requirements

  • Several years managing recruiting teams of significant size.
  • Experience hiring and developing recruiters.
  • Experience keeping a team motivated through demanding periods.
  • Accountability for outcomes rather than activity.
  • Time spent within best-in-class GTM hiring functions at high-growth, VC-backed, or top-tier companies with a genuinely high hiring bar.
  • Experience leading or closely overseeing hiring for sales plus at least one of customer success or engagement, marketing, or specialist or technical roles.
  • A mix of agency and in-house experience is preferred.
  • The ability to hold credible conversations with senior leaders, up to CRO level, about what strong looks like at each level.
  • Understanding the difference between a good resume and a good hire.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple sites.
  • An operator's approach to running searches, tracking the right metrics, using pipeline data for decisions, and changing processes when they aren't working.
  • A hiring bar that does not move under pressure; changing the approach, not the standard, when searches become difficult.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting lawyers or legal professionals is a strong plus.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple GTM functions, including sales, customer success or engagement, marketing, or specialist or technical roles.

  • Own the relationships with North American leaders in sales, engagement, legal engineering, and marketing as a genuine hiring partner.
  • Contribute to role scoping, success profiles, and hiring strategy.
  • Move easily between the detail and the executive room, providing executives with a clear, honest picture of search status and handling escalations with credibility.
  • Build pipelines ahead of demand across every function and hub, engaging passive talent through outreach from hiring managers, referrals, and persistence across channels.
  • Hold the standard for candidate experience across the team, from first conversation through to offer, ensuring every interaction reflects the quality of the product and people.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Global GTM Talent Acquisition and the European counterpart on process consistency and shared standards as both regions scale.
