About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Global Consulting, has a pivotal role responsible for managing multiple complex projects and programs simultaneously. This role requires strong organizational skills with proven project management expertise, adept at navigating intricate stakeholder landscapes and proactively mitigating risks. As a key member of our flex team, you will rotate across various high-priority initiatives, adapting quickly to new challenges and environments to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field.
  • Four (4) or more years of progressive experience in consulting, project, or program management roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional engagement
  • Demonstrated experience managing and defining transformational strategies for business units.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder interactions.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be tested on challenging projects and initiatives.
  • Experience in facilitating cross-discipline forums and processes to drive consensus and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with Marriott's strategic objectives and enterprise goals.
  • Progress & Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions for successful project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Facilitate complex stakeholder interactions and cross-discipline forums to gain senior leader buy-in on critical decisions.
  • Flexible Resource Deployment: Contribute as a versatile resource, rotating to high-priority projects and adapting quickly to evolving business needs and new environments.
