MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Senior Manager, Sponsorship Consulting, with F1 expertise to work with our roster of Fortune 500 clients. This is an exciting opportunity for you to help shape the best partnership strategy, activation, and rightsholder management for brand(s) in this industry. You will partner with a team of experienced marketers in developing and measuring the performance of F1 activation programs. Successful employees will approach unexpected challenges quickly and creatively. This opportunity is based in our Los , Angeles office, and you will report into the VP, Sponsorship Consulting.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of experience working in the sponsorship industry and on high-profile sponsorship programs involving properties such as F1, NFL, NASCAR, NBA, MLB, NCAA.
  • 3 + years of F1 experience working across brand partnerships in the motorsports space
  • Knowledge of how brands are activating and collaborating in the F1 sports space, trends in sports and how players/teams/leagues are using social media channels to promote and collaborate
  • Experience with the full marketing mix, social media, content marketing, influencer approaches, and marketing promotions
  • Craft and present high-level sponsorship concepts to senior client leaders
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word experience
  • BA/BS in Marketing related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals with an ability to inspire best-in-class work and cultivate careers for rising stars
  • Develop client solutions and be able to present to the most senior levels and client organizations
  • Establish high-level relationships with client leaders and grow revenue through astute knowledge of cross-selling organizational capabilities
  • Collaborate with sanctioning bodies and rightsholders to help develop outstanding marketing partnerships
  • Write and develop important documents including POV documents to client-ready status
  • Negotiate with local and national rightsholders on behalf of clients, securing win-win agreements that surpass client expectations
  • Contribute to the agency new business activities including brainstorming, presentation writing and presentation delivery
