The Senior Manager, Global Compliance and Employee Relations, leads the global compliance strategy, risk mitigation, and employee relations efforts. This role serves as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders by building strong working relationships across all geographies, managing high-risk people issues while ensuring HR policies meet legal requirements across all regions and balancing consistent global practices with local laws and cultural needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field required.
  • 6-10 years of progressive HR, employee relations, or compliance experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace investigations, and employee relations best practices and employment laws across multiple regions, (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, North America).
  • Ability to partner with legal counsel, and senior leadership on sensitive and high-risk matters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, drive consistency, and foster collaborative relationships across functions and regions.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or professional certification SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience managing global or multi-jurisdictional HR compliance programs is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain global HR compliance frameworks, company policies, and procedures aligned with local labor laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
  • Support the design and implementation of risk management compliance training programs for HR teams, managers, and employees on topics such as anti-harassment, workplace conduct, investigations, and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain awareness of global privacy, data protection, and employment law considerations affecting HR operations and employee relations practices.
  • Contribute to global or regional HR projects requiring compliance expertise, such as policy harmonization, documentation standards, workforce restructuring, or organizational changes.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies that promote consistency, fairness, and legal defensibility across the organization.
  • Oversee complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including grievances, appeals, disciplinary actions, terminations, conflict resolution, and policy violations.
  • Work closely with HR Leadership, Legal and business leaders on managing complex investigations and legal claims.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to HR business partners and managers on employee relations best practices, investigative quality, documentation standards, performance management, and overall workplace conduct.
  • Implement process improvements on case management/tracking, maintain preventive actions, policy enhancements, to reduce risks and improve workplace culture.
