Senior Manager, FP&A
About The Position
Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Senior Manager, FP&A to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this role, you’ll work with Finance and other leaders to drive insights and analysis of key growth opportunities and operational efficiencies. You will take on a range of analytical tasks related to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to help drive decision making. In the process, you’ll take on a range of analytical tasks related to forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analyzing business performance and trends. Among other duties, you’ll be responsible for understanding and driving detailed analyses related to aspects of our cost of goods sold and gross margin profile. You’ll report to our Director of Finance and will regularly share insights and analysis with our Chief Financial Officer, Chief Product and Supply Chain Officer, and the broader leadership team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in financial operating roles and analytical environments
- An analytical and creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
- A self-starter who is able to manage multiple assignments and work independently
- A skilled and seasoned people manager who is collaborative and excited to work with different teams
- An excellent communicator who loves to share findings and actionable insights with leadership
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a high-growth company, particularly in the retail and/or consumer industry
- Familiarity with cloud-based planning tools like Oracle EPM and Anaplan
- Experience with Looker or other BI and data visualization tools
Responsibilities
- Create and manage dynamic and scalable financial models that track business metrics and performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Provide integral support on key team deliverables including annual and quarterly budgeting and strategic planning
- Collaborate closely with Product and Supply Chain teams to support near and long-term planning and understand key drivers of business performance
- Lead financial assessment of proposed capital projects and ad hoc analyses to support investment decisions
- Help build and define the FP&A AI strategy and roadmap and champion AI efficiencies across our operations
