About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, this role is responsible for directing the monthly financial close and external financial reporting of the Company. The position oversees the preparation and filing of all annual and quarterly SEC financial reports, and the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in those filings as appropriate. The role also monitors and interprets pending and newly issued reporting rule changes and assesses their impact to the Company, meeting and summarizing the impact for the CEO, CFO, and Controller. Additionally, the Senior Manager participates as a team member in various Company initiatives, providing guidance and advice on accounting and financial matters.

Requirements

• Experience in financial reporting
• Experience with SEC financial reports
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to monitor and interpret reporting rule changes
• Ability to assess impact of rule changes
• Ability to provide guidance and advice on accounting and financial matters
