We are currently seeking a Senior Manager – Finance Transformation (BlackLine) to join our Business Consulting practice. In this role, you will lead complex finance transformation engagements with a strong focus on Record‑to‑Report (R2R), financial close optimization, and BlackLine implementation and enablement. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to design and deliver technology‑enabled solutions that drive process efficiency, strengthen controls, and accelerate close cycles. Requirements

  • Mandatory: Demonstrated hands‑on experience with BlackLine (e.g., Account Reconciliations, Journals, Task Management, Intercompany, Controls).
  • Experience delivering full lifecycle transformation initiatives (assessment, design, implementation, and post‑go‑live support).
  • Strong background in finance processes, particularly Record‑to‑Report and financial close.
  • Experience with ERP platforms and finance automation technologies.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end Finance Transformation engagements, with a primary focus on Record‑to‑Report (R2R), financial close and consolidation, account reconciliations, journal entries, task management, and controls.
  • Act as a solution lead for BlackLine‑enabled transformations, including BlackLine functional design and implementation, close optimization and stabilization, integration with ERP and consolidation platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and post‑implementation improvement and value realization.
  • Advise clients on target operating models, process standardization, and governance frameworks supported by BlackLine.
  • Engage with executive‑level stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Anticipate and manage engagement risks, dependencies, and quality.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, points of view (POVs), and client pursuits related to BlackLine and Finance Transformation.
  • Actively coach, mentor, and develop high‑performing consulting teams.
  • Lead the delivery of complex Finance Transformation programs, ensuring alignment between process, technology, and people.
  • Own client relationships for BlackLine‑enabled engagements.
  • Manage financial aspects of engagements, including staffing, budgets, and delivery milestones.
  • Identify opportunities to expand EY services within existing client relationships.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor team members across multiple engagements.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Support people initiatives, including recruitment, training, and capability development within Finance Transformation and BlackLine.
  • Promote a strong learning culture and inclusive teaming environment.
