About The Position

The Senior Manager, End-to-End FP&A role offers the opportunity to influence performance across the Sam’s Club enterprise while serving as the primary finance partner to a Regional Vice President supporting a portfolio of clubs. This role partners with Operations, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and eCommerce to lead forecasting, planning, and performance analysis in support of the Chief Operating Officer and leadership team. It also provides decision support to a Regional VP through portfolio analytics, scenario modeling, and ad hoc analysis, while using data, AI, and advanced analytics to deliver clear, actionable insights for regional and enterprise leaders. The Sam’s End-to-End FP&A Team drives financial clarity and strategic insight across Sam’s Club by supporting the Chief Operating Officer and his teams in Operations, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and eCommerce. As part of the Operations Finance organization, we leverage AI, data, and cross-functional collaboration to connect financial impacts across the business, guide key decisions, and empower operators to deliver value for our members every day.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling to support business performance and expense management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through effective process development and monitoring.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and driving execution of business plans aligned with operational priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future sales and expense targets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and enhance financial reporting transparency.
  • Communicate financial results, assumptions, and variances to senior management and support business case presentations.
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and measuring progress to optimize performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
