Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership to the transportation operations: DOT compliance, safety, schedules, maintenance, depot serviceability, yard management and dispatching function.
• Manage operational efficiency of transportation logistics costs and service
• Manage safety and company compliance with all applicable DOT laws and regulations including maintenance and repairs of fleet.
• Manage tractor trailers driver workforce including hiring, retention, development, employee relations, terminations, engagement and compensation.
• Leadership of day-to-day logistical scheduling operations while partnering with DC and Depot operations including the ability to respond to load inquiries.
• Manage yard operations and deliveries into the regional depots, stores and other DCs (including handling of emergencies through the night into the morning)
