About The Position

The Senior Manager, Field Marketing & Events will lead the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of North America's field marketing and event portfolio. This role serves as the central orchestrator for customer events, executive engagement programs, strategic partner activations, conferences, sponsorships, roadshows, and industry experiences that support pipeline creation, opportunity acceleration, and executive relationship development. This individual will own the end-to-end management of the event portfolio, ensuring every program has clear business objectives, stakeholder alignment, defined project plans, strong attendee experiences, and measurable outcomes. Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, partner marketing, experiential marketing, or related B2B marketing roles.
  • Proven experience managing executive-level events, conferences, sponsorships, and customer engagement programs.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple complex programs simultaneously.
  • Strong budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel and provide onsite event leadership.
  • Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage North America's annual event and field marketing strategy aligned to business priorities and revenue objectives.
  • Partner with sales leadership, account teams, sector leaders, strategic alliances, and marketing stakeholders to identify target accounts, desired audiences, and event objectives.
  • Evaluate new event opportunities, sponsorships, and executive experiences based on strategic value, business impact, and expected ROI.
  • Manage event intake, prioritization, and planning processes.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of conferences, executive dinners, customer events, industry sponsorships, partner activations, roadshows, hospitality programs, executive briefings, and thought leadership experiences.
  • Own venue sourcing, contract negotiations, catering, travel, registration platforms, attendee communications, logistics, and onsite event management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies, vendors, venues, production partners, and third-party event organizers.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively mitigate event risks.
  • Ensure a consistent, professional, and high-touch attendee experience across all programs.
  • Act as the central coordinator across sales, account management, business development, partner teams, marketing, communications, and executive leadership.
  • Establish clear timelines, responsibilities, milestones, and communication cadences for all events.
  • Provide regular stakeholder updates and executive visibility into program status, risks, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with project management resources to maintain project plans and ensure accountability across workstreams.
  • Support strategic alliance and partner marketing activities including Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, Genesys, Databricks, NiCE, and other key partners.
  • Coordinate partner-sponsored events, co-funded programs, executive experiences, and customer-facing engagements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create meaningful executive engagement opportunities that strengthen customer relationships and advance opportunities.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure programs remain on budget while maximizing business impact.
  • Establish repeatable processes, templates, standards, and best practices to improve scalability and execution quality.
  • Maintain event calendars, resource planning, and portfolio-level visibility.
  • Define success metrics for every event and field marketing initiative.
  • Track attendance, engagement, executive meetings, pipeline influence, opportunity creation, and overall business impact.
  • Deliver post-event readouts and executive summaries within established timelines.
  • Use insights and performance data to optimize future programs and investments.
