About The Position

Nymbus is a leader in fintech, operating with an AI-first mindset and a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and execution. This role is for a Senior Manager, Field & Influence Marketing who will own key points of influence for executive buyers in the banking and credit union sector. The position requires an adaptive marketing approach, focusing on analyst and consultant relations, PR, account-based marketing, customer advocacy, and product marketing narrative. Paid media and digital channels will serve as amplifiers. The role reports to the Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer and will manage the Events Manager, as peer conferences are a high-trust channel. Nymbus is a remote-first company, with preferred candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of B2B marketing experience in a regulated, relationship-driven, or long-sales-cycle market: fintech, banking technology, enterprise SaaS to executive buyers, insurance, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ownership of analyst relations and/or industry press relationships.
  • Account-based marketing experience against a defined, named target list.
  • Comfort operating as a generalist, willing to shift focus across functions as strategy requires.
  • Strong executive communication skills, comfortable drafting for a CEO or board-level audience.
  • Cross-functional fluency working with Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership.
  • Familiarity with AI/agentic tools for content and marketing production is a plus.
  • Prior experience managing at least one direct report is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct banking/credit union experience is a strong plus but not required.
  • Comfortable selecting and standing up marketing technology (CRM, ABM, email/communications tools) from scratch or reconfiguring an existing stack is a plus.
  • Experience marketing to bank or credit union executives, or another risk-averse, board-governed buyer, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run a regular analyst and consultant briefing cadence with the firm's bank and credit union leadership and key decision-makers.
  • Own external communications and industry press relationships, positioning Nymbus credibly in the trade outlets our buyers read.
  • Build a named-account marketing motion tied directly to Sales' actual target list.
  • Stand up customer and peer advocacy programs that let prospective CEOs hear directly from CEOs already using Nymbus.
  • Translate platform capability into a board-ready, risk-mitigated narrative in partnership with Product.
  • Build and maintain a marketing technology stack suited to a named-account, relationship-driven model.
  • Lead and develop the Events Manager, and ensure marketing operations and budget support the above priorities.
  • Own relationships with analysts and consultants that bank and credit union boards consult before vendor decisions.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials with the CSMO and CEO.
  • Lead industry rankings, evaluations, and award submissions.
  • Track and report on how analyst sentiment and coverage evolve.
  • Own external communications strategy, with a focus on the trade press.
  • Draft press releases, executive communications, and customer announcements.
  • Build direct relationships with reporters and editors who cover bank/CU technology.
  • Support crisis communications when necessary.
  • Build and run marketing programs against Nymbus's named target list.
  • Partner with Sales to identify what a specific target account's CEO or board needs to see or hear to move forward.
  • Maintain working knowledge of a meaningful share of target accounts by name and context.
  • Develop sales enablement materials and training, including account-specific collateral and talking points.
  • Build reference and advocacy programs that let prospective CEOs hear directly from CEOs already using Nymbus.
  • Coordinate peer roundtables, customer councils, and reference calls in partnership with Customer Success and Sales.
  • Translate platform capability into a board-ready, risk-mitigated story.
  • Partner with Product on launch narrative and competitive positioning.
  • Regularly audit marketing content for accuracy and relevance, and close content gaps.
  • Own day-to-day management of a marketing budget.
  • Coordinate agency and freelance partners.
  • Select, build, and maintain the marketing technology stack appropriate to a named-account model.
  • Track, measure and report on KPIs that matter in this model.
  • Lead and develop the Events Manager; ensure conferences, roundtables, and peer events are run as trust-building tools.
  • Improve marketing workflows and operating rhythms as the team grows.
  • Integrate AI tools actively into strategic planning and daily workflow.
  • Champion new platform capabilities and automation opportunities that create strategic advantage for Nymbus Marketing.
  • Share learnings and continuously raise the bar for how the team uses AI to think faster, plan smarter, and deliver more.
