Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Manager, Executive Compensation to join our team. Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week and two days working remotely, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 5 or more years of executive compensation experience OR Bachelors degree with 8 years of broad based compensation experience with exposure to executive compensation
  • Experience in a global public company
  • Well-developed executive compensation expertise
  • Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business consultation skills
  • Critical high-level attention to data integrity and accuracy
  • Advanced skills related to data gathering and manipulation for business analysis
  • Ability to effectively establish, manage, and leverage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Project management skills are essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills required
  • Demonstrated HRIS skills
  • Being cognizant of the urgency and time sensitivity related to executive compensation requests
  • Demonstration to problem solve and think outside-of-the-box / self-starter
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Comfortable reading/writing internal business documents, policy statements, financial documents (10ks and proxy statements) and process reviews

Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to the overall program management and administration of executive compensation, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with company strategy and pay philosophy.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Rewards leadership to review executive roles and responsibilities across complex organizations and recommend appropriate job grade and pay positioning for new hires, promotions, and retention reviews.
  • Lead equity planning operations, including cost modeling, execution of workday planning tool, analysis of year-over-year costing and calibration reports.
  • Manage the intake, evaluation, and execution of off‑cycle equity planning and solicitations, including retention, sign‑on, make‑whole, and special equity awards; ensure requests are well‑supported and aligned with internal equity and approval authorities.
  • Lead development of executive compensation materials for Compensation and Human Capital Committee meetings, including research, analyses, benchmarking, and reports.
  • Conduct in‑depth research and analysis related to executive compensation market trends, leveraging publicly disclosed financial documents such as proxies, 10‑Ks, and 8‑Ks, as well as external survey data.
  • Oversee participation in third‑party executive compensation surveys, including job matching, data submission, validation, and interpretation of results.
  • Independently lead and orchestrate key components of global compensation planning cycles, including merit, annual incentive, and long‑term equity programs, ensuring alignment with pay‑for‑performance philosophy, governance requirements, and business objectives.
  • Administer the global Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), including monitoring employee eligibility, supporting purchase audits, and overseeing refund processing.
  • Stay current on industry trends, governance developments, and regulatory changes, translating insights into recommendations for executive compensation program enhancements and process improvements.
  • Research and develop executive compensation proposals such as retention plans, equity modeling and other compensation trends.
  • Lead analytical support regarding ad hoc research and other related executive compensation projects.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of executive compensation data requirements and reporting needs, identifying and developing streamlined processes, reports and tools that support decision‑making and program administration.
  • Conduct executive compensation M&A due diligence and support integration.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, with opportunity for direct people management responsibilities.
