About The Position

Our Enterprise Value Creation practice is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join the team. Expectations of value have changed. Driving revenue growth, optimizing margins & costs, and maximizing ROI remain pivotal but the opportunity is bigger. The EVC team drives sustainable P&L improvements by realizing cost and revenue growth strategies that address short-term financial challenges and long-term shareholder expectations. We bring a PE mindset to enterprises, balancing the need to be cost-efficient while maintaining a ruthless focus on profitable growth. We differentiate ourselves through the rigor of our thinking and the humanity of our execution, generating compelling insights from deep data and analysis combined with market knowledge, ensuring maximum value realization is delivered and sustained longer-term. As a member of our team, you will help clients identify value rapidly as well as shape and drive a breadth of exciting & transformational work across all our industry sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Telcoms Media & Technology).

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience and a passion for delivering impactful results in dynamic environments.
  • Experience delivering in value creation programs and projects focused on: gross margin improvement, SG&A/third party cost reduction, pricing & profitability, commercial excellence, operational performance improvement, or operational/commercial due diligence
  • Experience in business development and delivering work in at least one of Baringa’s industry sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources)
  • Experience in the development and build out of value creation capabilities, teams and assets in a consulting organization
  • Experience supporting client implementation to deliver tangible benefits
  • ACA/CIMA qualified, with an Accounting degree or experience in managing a P&L
  • Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environments
  • Experience coaching teams and delivering training to colleagues and/or clients
  • Senior stakeholder communications, management, presentation and relationship development skills

Responsibilities

  • Helping clients address complex strategic, operational, and organizational issues which affect both their top-line revenue growth and their bottom-line cost and margin management
  • Leading delivery on programs ranging anywhere from setting EVC strategy and vision tailored to client's needs, to mobilizing and leading multi-disciplinary improvement programs across cost management, margin optimization, pricing strategy, commercial excellence, growth & go-to-market strategy
  • Building capability in the client to ensure value creation strategies are sustainable.
  • Coaching, mentoring and inspiring junior team members to ensure they fulfil their potential and are happy at work
  • Supporting Partners and Directors in business development and account management, at Senior Manager you will have an informal revenue target
  • Being a key member of the Enterprise Value Creation team responsible for building out the Enterprise Value Creation team to become the “Go To” brand in the market
  • Bringing together our cross-functional Baringa team to bring the best in class to the client
