About The Position

Baringa is seeking an experienced Senior Manager or Director to join their Organization, Performance and Change practice. This role is focused on Enterprise Value Creation and will support the growth of the practice, particularly within the Financial Services, Energy & Resources, and Products & Services sectors. The position offers an opportunity for entrepreneurial consultants to contribute to a practice that provides a different experience for clients and employees, with the potential for equity partnership for high performers. The role involves working closely with clients on challenging engagements, building client relationships, developing business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of Baringa's US practice. Additionally, the role includes talent acquisition, mentoring, and developing junior team members.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience for Senior Manager (10+ years for Director) in a consulting role
  • Experience in Enterprise Value Creation
  • Track record of successfully contributing to building and growing trusted client relationships
  • Track record of delivering complex client engagements
  • Track record of developing consulting practitioners
  • Expert and thought leader in areas such as: Commercial Strategy, Human Capital Assessment, Pricing, P&L and Balance Sheet Analysis and cost optimization initiatives
  • Previous track record of participating in building client relationships, identifying and shaping opportunities and converting opportunities to sold engagements
  • Industry operating model, process, technology and change knowledge and expertise in a relevant field
  • A value-focused mindset evidenced by a track record of delivering high-impact solutions for clients
  • A strong background with management consulting methodologies and approaches
  • Entrepreneurial and growth focused

Responsibilities

  • Assist and lead with the development of client relationships and business engagement opportunities
  • Lead the delivery of client projects and programs in your area of expertise, working side-by-side with client’s and their teams
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Baringa’s global and local growth strategy
  • Actively engage in acquisition of new team members and talent
  • Mentor and advise less experienced team members
