Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 7+ years Military, Law Enforcement, Fire & Life Safety, Security, Site Risk Management, Intelligence, Cybersecurity or relevant industry experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 14+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and administering electronic security systems.
  • Experience with system programming, configuration, and network administration.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking and enterprise server system architecture.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing corporate security programs, and developing SOPs and process documentation.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Certification or advanced platform experience with Lenel S2, Software House C-Cure 9000, Milestone XProtect, Avigilon, ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), ATAP Certified Threat Manager (CTM), ACFE Certified Fraud Examiner, ISACA Certified Information Security Manager accreditation, Physical Security Professional (PSP), or similar.
  • Computer networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.
  • Experience conducting audits and reconciliations of security records.
  • Strong knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection system programming and integrated electronic security systems such as Access Control Systems (ACS), Closed-Circuit Surveillance (CSS/VSS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
  • Proven experience conducting security assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations and industry security standards and framework.
  • Project coordination experience related to working with government officials, contractors, and internal teams.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and principles (CORE/ACE, SixSigma).
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate across the organization, as well as suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the security technology team.
  • Design and manage new construction, retrofit installs, and site upgrades regarding ACS, IDS, and VMS.
  • Create a companywide playbook to guide site leaders to ensure our people and assets are secure.
  • Design, configure and support enterprise-level access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Coordinate system integrations between multiple security platforms and enterprise IT network environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and life-cycle management plans.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, collaborating with internal teams and system integrators to resolve incidents.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to project stakeholders.
  • Support planning, installation, and deployment of new systems, system migration, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Ensure systems performance aligns with governmental and organizational security policy requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews providing technical input for new construction, renovation, and upgrade projects.
  • Ensure all security-related technologies and system requirements are operable for proactive and reactive programming at each site while co-designing the system with other company programs, including CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, perimeter security mechanism, and other security mitigation measures.
