Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Government, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in TWC Texas Rising Star (TRS) Program, TWC early childcare quality, or related roles.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Exceptional understanding of workforce development.
  • Aptitude for collaborative teamwork within a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
  • 10 years or more of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development and management of applications for quality improvement incentives, wage supplements, and other stipends.
  • Ensure the conduct eligibility and program accuracy reviews, ensuring compliance and appropriate use of funds.
  • Provide oversight of follow-up and corrective action when deliverables are not met by the early childcare provider.
  • Oversees the real-time tracking of provider activities, incentives, and professional development engagement.
  • Monitors outcomes tied to TRS assessments and quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure audit-ready processes and high-integrity.
  • Provides insights to guide continuous program improvement.
  • Oversee the managing of relationships with Local Match contributors.
  • Supervise reviews of quarterly reports and performance reports against funding requirements.
  • Cultivates new partnerships opportunities and supports long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee the development and maintaining of early childcare quality materials and communication methods to ensure families have accessible, accurate and timely information on TWC financial assistance and early childcare programs and resource.
