About The Position

The Distribution Center Quality & Safety Manager strengthens quality assurance, operational compliance, and workplace safety at the Moonachie Distribution Center. The role owns processes and controls that help ensure products are received, handled, stored, inspected, picked, packed, and shipped according to established standards. It is accountable for verifying that appropriate teams perform required inspections and quality controls, identifying gaps, leading root-cause analysis, and driving corrective action; it is not the primary product-inspection role. The position also leads facility safety programs, audits, training, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate is a hands-on, visible, collaborative professional able to build structure where processes are developing. They identify systemic issues, partner with operational leaders on solutions, escalate unresolved risks, and hold teams accountable for corrective actions. The role coordinates quality, product-handling, process-compliance, and safety training; maintains procedures, work instructions, standards, audit records, and training documentation; and reports quality and safety trends, risks, open corrective actions, and improvement priorities to leadership. It works cross-functionally with Distribution, Quality, Customer Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and other teams. The position has authority to audit processes and documentation, identify and document nonconformances, require corrective-action assignments, recommend additional controls or other corrective measures, escalate significant concerns, and verify that agreed actions are completed and effective. The role may stop or suspend work, equipment use, or activities presenting an imminent or serious worker-safety risk or significant environmental harm, and promptly escalate the matter to Distribution leadership. This is an on-site, benefit-eligible position at the Moonachie Distribution Center. The salary range is $100,000–$125,000 per year, with possible eligibility for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The position includes access to medical, dental, and vision plans; life and accidental dismemberment and death insurance; tuition reimbursement; 401(k); short- and long-term disability; parental leave; legal plan; employee assistance program; pet insurance; flexible spending account; critical illness insurance; watch accommodations and discounts; paid time off; and company-paid holidays. Benefits may change at the Company's discretion based on business needs or applicable laws.
