Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in digital transformation, AI/ML, or advanced analytics with significant leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale, business-critical transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, MLOps, data platforms, and model lifecycle management.
  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships with IT, business leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across executive and technical audiences.
  • Passion for developing teams and driving innovation in fast-evolving technology environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end digital and AI transformation strategy for the Product Development Q.life Platform, expanding its impact across Lubrizol Additives, Engineered Materials, and Surface Sciences.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, aligning priorities, resources, and capability-building initiatives globally.
  • Drive cultural transformation by fostering innovation, accountability, and high-performance team practices.
  • Own production machine learning (ML) systems, ensuring reliability, governance, lifecycle management, and business continuity.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to scale AI/ML capabilities aligned with enterprise platforms.
  • Establish best practices for ML development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement within the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute a strategic technology roadmap while building partnerships with internal teams, external vendors, and academic institutions.
  • Act as a senior advisor to leadership, shaping AI investment decisions and prioritization based on business value.
