About The Position

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Operations to oversee the day-to-day execution of a specific area within the Allen digital print workflow. This role involves supervising production staff and shift leads, managing the daily schedule, and enforcing quality standards. The position reports to the Director, Digital Production and collaborates with Pre-Press, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on production leadership skills and the ability to manage a demanding schedule while developing a capable front-line team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in print production, manufacturing, or digital print operations.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams.
  • Hands-on experience with digital printing, prepress, or color management in a high-volume production environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain a daily production schedule while meeting throughput and quality targets.
  • Strong front-line leadership skills, including supervising, training, and holding a team accountable on the production floor.
  • Comfort working with Pre-Press, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve day-to-day issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with trading cards, collectibles, or other high-mix, short-run production.
  • Familiarity with on-card printing, foil, and premium finishing processes.
  • Experience supervising multiple shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and production scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day production, executing the daily digital production schedule for the assigned area to ensure print-ready files move through the workflow to finished, inspected product on time.
  • Supervise the floor by directly managing production staff and shift leads, assigning work, monitoring throughput, and resolving line issues.
  • Enforce existing Quality Control (QC) standards and inspection checkpoints, and flag recurring defect patterns to the Director for process improvements.
  • Coach and evaluate the team by providing daily direction and training, conducting performance evaluations, and contributing to pay, hiring, and development decisions.
  • Track capacity and throughput against the daily/weekly plan, and escalate schedule risks such as staffing gaps, machine downtime, or material shortages.
  • Report volume, yield, and defect rate for the area, and make adjustments to work assignments or process steps to meet targets.
  • Monitor machine uptime, log issues, and coordinate with Maintenance for routine repairs and scheduled service.
  • Communicate direction from the Director and cross-functional partners into clear daily work objectives for staff.
  • Operate within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend refinements when a process step is not working effectively.
  • Support onboarding and cross-training of new hires and existing staff across stations to enable team flexibility as volume shifts.
