About The Position

As a Senior Manager Datacenter Engineering at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. You will lead Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Infrastructure Engineering. You will develop engineering standards for AI/GPU data centers and liquid cooling. You will provide technical oversight for new builds, retrofits, and operational improvements. You will perform engineering due diligence for new colocation facilities. You will support Site Operations, Deployment, Construction, and Design organizations. You will own infrastructure specifications, documentation, and governance. You will develop engineering talent and succession planning. You will drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

BS in Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years mission-critical data center engineering.
5+ years leading engineering teams.
Experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, liquid cooling, UPS, generators, and AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Infrastructure Engineering.
