About The Position

As a Senior Manager Datacenter Engineering at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. You will lead Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and Infrastructure Engineering. Develop engineering standards for AI/GPU data centers and liquid cooling. Provide technical oversight for new builds, retrofits, and operational improvements. Perform engineering due diligence for new colocation facilities. Support Site Operations, Deployment, Construction, and Design organizations. Own infrastructure specifications, documentation, and governance. Develop engineering talent and succession planning. Drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years mission-critical data center engineering.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, liquid cooling, UPS, generators, and AI infrastructure.
