This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting and input of data related to core business functions, including provider, clinical, and member data. The role involves performing business analysis, identifying root causes, and developing recommendations for business improvements. Collaboration across departments is key to implementing improved workflows and processes. The Senior Manager will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of internal and external report deliverables, manage scheduled and ad hoc reporting needs, and execute large reconciliation tasks. Data quality and completeness in core systems will be maintained through auditing. The role also oversees data-related projects, mentors a team of data analysts, and leads complex analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of various data mining, reporting, and reconciliation tools and methodologies.
  • Advanced systems and software knowledge in MS Access and Excel, SQL, Business Objects, and data warehousing.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Medicare and Medicaid managed care experience a plus.
  • Experience with Python and Power Bi or Power Query is highly preferred.
  • Experience using SQL at an advanced level is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting and input of data related to all core business functions to include: provider data, clinical data, member data, and other data types.
  • Perform business analysis, identify root cause, and develop recommendations and solutions to drive business improvements.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop and implement improved workflows and processes.
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of internal and external report deliverables.
  • Manage scheduled and ad hoc reporting needs of the organization.
  • Execute and manage the completion of large reconciliation tasks.
  • Responsible for the quality and completeness of data in core systems by performing and overseeing the auditing of data.
  • Oversee large systems and data related projects.
  • Mentor and manage a team of data analysts of variable skill and practice levels.
  • Lead and execute complex data related analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficencies.
