Senior Manager, Corporate Development - M&A Integration
About The Position
The Senior Manager, Corporate Development — M&A Integration plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic growth initiatives. This individual will support multiple transactions simultaneously and partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to plan and execute due diligence, integrations, and separations. As a key member of the M&A Integration team, the Senior Manager will develop and manage value chain analyses, entanglement assessments, stranded-cost analyses, one-time cost evaluations, service grids, and transition services agreements for acquisitions and divestitures. The ideal candidate brings strong M&A execution experience, strategic thinking, financial acumen, stakeholder-management expertise, and the ability to deliver results in a complex, matrixed environment.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of relevant experience supporting complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Five or more years of experience supporting M&A, integration, separation, corporate development, strategy, finance, or related work.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience.

- Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
- Project management certification, such as PMP or Agile.
- Experience with integration management office methodologies and M&A best practices.
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance, strategy, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions concurrently.
- Partner with Corporate Development leadership to evaluate, plan, and execute complex transactions.
- Lead critical integration and separation planning activities to support smooth transitions and achieve transaction objectives.
- Develop and maintain transaction workplans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and governance structures.
- Identify and escalate key risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Review transaction documents and assess operational implications.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Strategy, Operations, Technology, Human Resources, Procurement, and external advisors to define and deliver transaction requirements.
- Support executive-level discussions and communicate status, risks, recommendations, and decisions clearly.
- Define and implement strategies that improve M&A processes, methodologies, tools, and governance.
- Develop resources, templates, and best practices that enhance transaction execution.
- Assess how new products, services, and capabilities may affect future integrations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the M&A function and improve transaction outcomes.
