About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to join our global accounting team. The essential functions listed below are representative of the responsibilities required for this role.

Requirements

  • CPA or local equivalent professional accounting qualification required.
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibility in technical accounting, consolidations, and external audit support, with at least 2 years managing a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, with deep expertise in ASC 606, ASC 842, and group consolidations; UK Gaap/IFRS experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multinational consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Proven experience supporting external audits, including preparation of technical accounting documentation.
  • Experience of purchase accounting for acquisitions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Bydesign) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • UK Gaap/IFRS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition across all global entities in accordance with US and UK GAAP, including oversight of key judgments and reporting impacts.
  • Oversee the review of customer contracts and complex commercial arrangements to determine the appropriate accounting treatment under ASC 606 and US GAAP.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over revenue recognition and related processes and provide ownership and guidance over bad debt reserve accounting.
  • Maintain lease accounting under ASC 842, including policy application, review of lease calculations, and maintenance of supporting schedules and controls.
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting entries for goodwill and intangible assets under US GAAP and coordinate with local teams.
  • Maintain deferred cost of goods balances and ensure timely release in line with the underlying revenue contracts.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance group accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent application of US GAAP across all entities.
  • Design and strengthen the group control framework over key accounting areas and consolidation processes.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to standardize processes, implement controls, and drive compliance with internal policy requirements and external reporting obligations.
  • Monitor control effectiveness, identify gaps, and lead remediation activities to support a robust and audit-ready group finance environment.
  • Perform the monthly group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, multi-currency reporting, and preparation of consolidated schedules supporting the US audit.
  • Review and analyze various FP&A reports (such as direct margin, cost center, BS, PL) and deliver meaningful insight.
  • Prepare, approve and review monthly journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Key member of the external audits, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
