About The Position
Join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Team! We are seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to join our OCI AI Infrastructure team. As a leader in this organization, you will manage a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of AI infrastructure buildout and delivery within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Leveraging your expertise in engineering leadership, hardware and software architecture, distributed systems, and applied AI, you will guide your team in delivering highly reliable, scalable cloud services. The OCI AI Infrastructure team plays a critical role in building next-generation data centers, automating hardware lifecycle management, and integrating servers into new OCI regions. This work directly impacts the reliability, scalability, and performance of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Define and drive delivery strategy, planning, and execution for large-scale infrastructure initiatives
- Build and scale high-performing engineering teams, processes, and operational practices
- Oversee 24x7 operations, ensuring high availability and rapid issue resolution
- Lead the development of automation and services to improve infrastructure efficiency
- Manage service queues, and guide teams in triaging and diagnosing AI compute hardware and software issues
- Drive continuous improvements to achieve operational excellence at scale
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI for automation, optimization, and productivity gains across OCI infrastructure
