About The Position

ATI is seeking a Senior Manager - Conversion Services for our Specialty Rolled Products business unit location in Brackenridge, PA. This position will continue to develop and capture new Hot Rolling conversion opportunities, focusing on securing new agreements and managing existing agreements to optimize the utilization of the Hot Rolling Processing Facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Previous operations, process engineering, planning and scheduling, or process leadership in metals manufacturing
  • Innovative computer skills requiring full capabilities of the Microsoft Office software suite, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Be motivated, detail oriented and organized with excellent leadership qualities.
  • Ability to collaborate - Serve as a role model for working together. Support cross-functional efforts and model collaborative behaviors to set the example for the team members and co-workers.
  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
  • Possess strong math skills, analytical aptitude and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic management and expansion of our existing carbon and conversion customer portfolio by introducing new customers
  • Maximize the benefits from existing conversion partners, while cultivating potential new partners
  • Improve and manage onboarding procedures for hot roll and melt ensuring seamless order entry, invoicing, and reporting procedures back to our customers
  • Expand and manage effective relationships with various internal departments (i.e. engineering, marketing, operations, accounting, supply chain, and quality).
  • Analyze and understand current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for improvements.
  • Set priorities and motivate team members. Work daily to develop team members through positive feedback, constructive feedback, and coaching.
