We're looking for a Senior Manager, Content Marketing to define and lead Payactiv's content strategy across the entire customer journey. This role will shape how employers, partners, employees, and industry influencers understand Payactiv and the future of earned wage access. As the steward of our editorial strategy, you'll create compelling narratives that build trust, strengthen our brand, support demand generation, and reinforce our leadership position in the market.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, editorial strategy, journalism, product marketing, or brand storytelling.
  • Proven experience developing executive thought leadership and strategic content programs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and full-funnel marketing.
  • Experience supporting demand generation, sales enablement, product marketing, and brand campaigns.
  • Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, engaging, and persuasive content.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience with HubSpot, CMS platforms, SEO tools, AI-assisted content workflows, and marketing analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Payactiv's enterprise content strategy aligned to business priorities, marketing campaigns, product launches, and revenue goals.
  • Own the editorial calendar across brand, demand generation, product marketing, partner marketing, customer marketing, PR, and events.
  • Identify content opportunities that educate the market, differentiate Payactiv, and strengthen our leadership position.
  • Partner with executives to develop industry-leading thought leadership, keynote presentations, bylined articles, reports, speeches, and media content.
  • Translate complex industry trends into compelling, accessible stories that shape conversations around financial wellness, workforce innovation, and earned wage access.
  • Build executive visibility through strategic content that supports speaking opportunities, PR, and social channels.
  • Lead the development of high-quality content across digital and offline channels, including website copy, pillar pages, blogs, whitepapers, customer stories, case studies, sales collateral, videos, webinars, presentations, and campaign assets.
  • Ensure messaging remains consistent across every audience, channel, and stage of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, PR, and Growth Marketing to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Develop content strategies that improve search visibility, build topical authority, and increase qualified organic traffic.
  • Partner with digital marketing to develop topic clusters, optimize existing content, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluate content performance and refine strategy using SEO, engagement, and conversion insights.
  • Work with the GTM team to create messaging and content that supports sales conversations, competitive positioning, customer retention, and partner enablement.
  • Develop battlecards, one-pagers, presentations, email campaigns, and educational resources that improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
