The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing Strategy serves as a strategic leader responsible for shaping Ford's consumer marketing direction across both near-term business priorities and long-term brand growth. This role leads the development of integrated marketing strategies by bringing together Marketing Communications, Media, Creative, CRM, Analytics, Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, and agency partners around a common strategic vision that drives consideration, strengthens brand health, and supports enterprise business objectives. Leading a high-performing strategy team, this individual guides the development of insight-driven marketing strategies that translate business challenges into actionable plans. The team defines the strategic approach behind major marketing campaigns and enterprise initiatives, integrating consumer understanding, competitive intelligence, marketplace trends, and performance analytics to ensure every significant marketing investment is aligned to clear business objectives, target audiences, measurement frameworks, and execution plans. The Senior Manager serves as a trusted advisor to senior marketing leadership by developing executive-ready recommendations, evaluating complex business challenges, and leading high-impact strategic initiatives that influence enterprise marketing decisions. They help elevate Ford's marketing capabilities by driving rigorous strategic thinking, compelling storytelling, and cross-functional alignment. Working alongside Consumer Insights, Analytics, and external agencies, this leader tackles complex business challenges by leading strategic research, conducting rigorous analysis, synthesizing insights into clear recommendations, and developing best practices that improve marketing planning and decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies for consumer brands or experience in management consulting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies for major campaigns, vehicle launches, and enterprise initiatives.
